I get asked a lot about how my barrette work with thick hair.  I personally have long (almost to the waist) hair that I have cut in layers so that it is not as heavy or thick as it would like to grow.  I have had no problems with any of the barrette backs working in my hair.  With that said, I know that there are people who do have thicker hair then I do.  I am waiting for a new shipment of barrette backs that are designed for thick hair.  Once they arrive I will picture them so all can see.  I am currently using up all of the french-style backs that I have.  (They are very similar to what you find  Goody using for the ones that they sell.)   I will then be going to different sizes of the French barrette backs.  They are very sturdy and work very well.  I like that they hold the hair tighter then the french-style ones that I have used in the past.

I always gladly accept special orders for any style of barrette or even what barrette back that is needed.
